Frequently Asked Questions

What is "subsidized" vending?

With "subsidized vending", we will provide the equipment for free and fill it on a regular basis. The cost of the product is shared between the employees and the company. For example, soda that normally costs $0.65 per can could be sold at $0.25 from the machine. The company can pick up the tab for the difference between $0.25 and $0.65.

Subsidized vending can be used only for beverage accounts. Unfortunately, You will not qualify for our revenue sharing program under subsidized vending.

What is "revenue sharing" and how does it work?

In addition to free machines and free service we also offer select accounts an opportunity to earn extra income for their business or for the charity of their choice. If your place of business qualifies for our revenue sharing program, you will receive a percentage of each machines monthly income. To qualify, your business must have a sufficient number of employees or customer traffic for the machine to produce a pre-determined amount of sales each month. Please contact us for more information as our revenue sharing program is tailored to your specific business.

My business does not qualify for revenue sharing. How else can I make money?

If your place of business does not qualify for revenue sharing, you can still make money promoting our services. We pay anyone who refers an account to us a "referral fee". We'll pay you $100.00 for each referral who would like a full size soda or beverage machine and $30.00 for each referral who would like a bulk candy and gum machine.

We have several sizes of machines available for most applications. From compact beverage vendors that take up no more than 2 square feet, to full size machines that handle larger accounts. Most standard beverage machines measure 79"x39"x33". However if the machine will be placed inside an enclosure, it is best to allow for 80"x45"x40". These dimensions take into consideration the space for the door opening as well as room in the back of the machine for the plug in and the need for air movement around the compressor.

Do I need to sign a contract?

While we do not utilize "binding contracts", we do ask that both parties acknowledge a simple agreement. Each of our machines represent a significant expense to us. Not only in cost but in time and labor as well. A simple placement agreement ensures us that you are serious in your desire to have our machines at your location. Our agreement is non-binding and you have the right to request removal of our equipment at any time. We do however ask that you, as a professional courtesy, give us at least 30 days to comply with your removal request. In addition to this, our agreement also locks in your vending price structure and protects you from wholesale price increases that occur from time to time.

A variety of things can go wrong with vending machines. Caserri Vending is always prepared for the worst-case scenario. Thats why it is important to correct any problems as they come up.

What if someone loses money in the vending machine?

Caserri Vending utilizes state of the art machines. Most of our machines are equipped with I-Vend, a revolutionary vend sensing system which allows the machine itself to give immediate refunds to the customer should they not receive their product for any reason. For our machines that do not have this feature, our service staff is instructed to give immediate refunds if requested.

What if my vending machine is vandalized?

Vending machine vandalism can happen and is usually a temporary situation. Choosing the best location for the machine will usually prevent vandalism. Caserri Vending prefers indoor vending placements. Indoor placements are better monitored. There is a significantly less likelihood of a machine being vandalized at an indoor location. If your machine is vandalized, you will not be held responsible for any damaged equipment or lost money. Caserri Vending reserves the right to remove a machine if vandalism becomes a recurring problem.

What happens if I need to move the machine?

Bulk machines are small and light and may be moved whenever it is a neccessity. If you need a soda/snack machine moved we ask that you notify us as soon as you can. Since these machines are extremely heavy, we will need to remove the product prior to moving.

How often should the vending machines be refilled?

Vending machines should always have products to vend. Anytime a machine runs empty, money is lost. Many vending companies place their machines on a generic refill schedule that is simply not adequate. The useage on every vending machine fluctuates throughout the seasons. The most important season in vending is the summer. If the vending machines are not on the correct refill schedule for the summer, much of the years revenue will be lost. At Caserri Vending, we understand that no two locations are the same and that each machine deserves our individual attention. We cater the refilling schedule of each machine to meet the needs of your business.

What products should go in the machine?

It is very important that the correct product selection be placed in the machines. We will work with you to ensure that the product selection suits your business the best. In addition to your input on product selection, we will also work from an industry established plan-o-gram that represents the best selling products in the northeast.
